When Russell and I were researching our trip to Japan, trying to figure out the train and transport aspect was our main priority. Considering we would land in Japan at around 6am, then have to catch public transport from Haneda airport to our hotel in Yokohama (around 40 minutes south of Tokyo), we wanted to be fairly sure about what to expect. If you’re like me, and have never visited Japan before, you’ll be pleasantly surprised from the moment you step out of the airport. Every single person you meet is super friendly and understanding of tourists that do not speak Japanese very well.
