For months now, I’ve wanted a new pair of headphones. I’ve always had those annoying, uncomfortable and let’s be honest, painful Apple headphones. You know the ones I’m talking about. The white buds that make your ears feel like they’re falling off if you use them for longer than an hour. I wanted a high quality, comfortable and stylish pair. Headphones that would get me through a day of travelling, hours of waiting at airports, and of course travelling by public transport to drown out the background noises of people talking and children screaming. Lucky, my boyfriend came to the rescue this past Christmas. He surprised me with the Legend ANC Over-Ear Headphones by House of Marley. I’ve never owned…

I bet you’re here because you need a Travel Checklist. Am I right? So you’re leaving the country, ready to head off on an amazing adventure. If you’re anything like me, you would have had your bags packed two weeks ago. You’ve probably been living out of a suitcase weeks earlier than you need to be. But hey, I’m with you on that one. Travelling and seeing the world is an exciting thing. Amongst all the excitement and craziness of packing and making sure you’ve got everything, you’re bound to leave something out. Whilst on Contiki, (check out the tour I did – Best of USA – here) our second stop was San Fransisco. Let me just tell you, San Fransisco is a beautiful place. I have always wanted to visit, as I’d always heard such great things about the city. So many of my friends and family members have said they would live there in a heart beat. So not only was I hearing good things, I had always seen such incredible photos from all around the city. Everyone genuinely seems to be so relaxed and happy. No matter which direction you walk down the main street, there are locals and travelers riding bikes, strolling along (seemingly) without a care in the world. I remember I…

Happy Australia Day my fellow Aussie readers! Whatever it is that you have planned for the day, I hope it involves lots of alcohol (legal Aussies, of course) and lots of celebrations! If you’re unsure what Australia Day is all about, you can check out some info here. But essentially, January 26th of each year, is the National Day of Australia. Aussies from all over the country get drunk, have BBQ’s and celebrate the birth of Australia! This year, I’m spending Australia Day in Alice Springs. Right in the centre of the country surrounded by snakes and the burning desert heat. It doesn’t get more Australian than that. So what is there to love about Australia? What makes it such…
